What IS Boxercise?
The exercises and routines are designed to suit both men and women, of all levels of fitness and ability.
Boxercise is one of the most effective forms of cross-training available today. Using gloves, focus mitts and heavy bags, it combines use of both aerobic and anaerobic energy systems with the systematic recruitment of both fast and slow twitch muscle fibres in a manner that not only ensures a diverse workout, but also enhances sports specific senses, including hand-eye co-ordination, balance and timing.
This is a low impact high intensity class based on all the fitness principles of boxing, expect to burn up between 500 and 700 calories per hour in this fun and action packed class.
